From racing to sharing experience

DTM Champion in 2012, Bruno Spengler raced with Mercedes-Benz and BMW before continuing his career in endurance and GT racing. A Bugatti Pilote Officiel since 2025, he also shares his experience with drivers and businesses.

01 1983

Born in Schiltigheim

Bruno Spengler is born on August 23, 1983 in Schiltigheim, Alsace, before building an international path shaped by France and Canada.

02 2005

DTM arrival

After single-seaters, Bruno joins DTM and enters one of Europe's most technical championships.

The move to DTM changed the scale of his career: touring cars, contact, demanding tyres, short-race strategy and the intensity of Germany's flagship series. It laid the foundations for his reputation as a fast learner inside factory environments.

03 2006

DTM runner-up

A breakthrough Mercedes-Benz season with wins and a championship fight.

In 2006, Bruno moved from promise to championship contender. His Mercedes-Benz wins and front-running consistency already showed a quality that would define his career: staying precise on weekends where every point matters.

04 2007

Second DTM runner-up season

Bruno confirms his place at the front of DTM with another runner-up finish.

The 2007 season confirmed that 2006 was no one-off peak. Bruno stayed in the championship fight against highly experienced rivals and established himself among the reference drivers of modern DTM.

05 2012

DTM champion with BMW

In BMW's DTM comeback season, Bruno wins the 2012 title with BMW Team Schnitzer.

This title captures one of Bruno's defining strengths: entering a new technical cycle, reading the environment quickly, building trust with the team and turning championship pressure into precise execution.

06 2015

No Limits at the Spa 24 Hours

Bruno shares the BMW Z4 GT3 project with Alex Zanardi and Timo Glock, a story told in the No Limits documentary.

This moment goes beyond sporting performance. It places Bruno in a story of endurance, trust and collective adaptation around Alex Zanardi, with Timo Glock and BMW Motorsport at the 24 Hours of Spa.

07 2020

IMSA with BMW Team RLL

Bruno enters North American endurance racing full-time with BMW Team RLL and the BMW M8 GTE, after a first IMSA marker at the 2015 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

IMSA added a different dimension to his career: stints, traffic, long-distance strategy and several drivers sharing the same car. His 2015 class podium at Daytona and his 2020 programme now feed his perspective on collective performance.

09 2025

Bugatti official driver

Bugatti announces Bruno Spengler as an official driver and ambassador, extending his professional racing expertise.

The Bugatti official driver role goes beyond demonstration: brand representation, client experience, hyper sports car guidance and contribution to the new era opened by the Tourbillon in Molsheim.

10 2026

Nürburgring 24 Hours

A notable Nordschleife return with the HWA EVO.R, finishing fourth in the SP-X class.

The Nordschleife demands a specific register: constant traffic, changing weather, night running, extreme concentration and risk control. For Bruno, this 2026 appearance extends the endurance line in his career.
